I feel one loved Mummy this morning! :) My children have been generous with their Mothering Sunday gifts. Our youngest girl's card had a big badge on it, 'Loved to bits', which I am now wearing. I am a VERY fortunate woman.  :)

We moved most of our son's stuff into his community living project flat this morning. The builders were painting around us! All the staff are wonderful and really excited about their three clients moving in on Monday afternoon. :)

My sis will be 40 next week - so  tomorrow night we (girlies) are off in a limo to drink champagne and be chauffeured around for an hour or so before going out for a meal. Sunday is our anniversary - plus there are other family occasions all in April. Phewww April is a busy month!

Asparagus contains a sulphurous compound called mercaptan (which is also found in rotten eggs, onions and garlic). When your digestive system breaks down mercaptan, by-products are released that cause the strange smell. The process is so quick that your urine can develop the distinctive smell within 15 to 30 minutes of eating asparagus.  Not everyone suffers this effect; your genetic makeup may determine whether your urine has the odour -- or whether you can actually smell it. Only some people appear to have the gene for the enzyme that breaks down mercaptan into its more pungent parts.
