Character glitches
« on: April 16, 2011, 21:45:24 »
Just posted a post that included 2 monetary sums.  Having posted them, i noticed that the ? (GBP) sign had changed to a ? (question mark).  Any ideas?  Anyone else having any similar problems?

It's done it again, see above!

I've also noticed that several people's posts have question marks instead of apostrophes... - at least as viewed on a Firefox browser.

???

All ok on the preview screen? :?: , but not the post screen on Safari browser.

I don't as yet have a solution to this one, and I'm about to set off for a week in Minehead at Spring Harvest and might not have access to the Internet.

So perhaps Martin can help with thi one, if you need to log into admin Martin, I have not changed the password or user name.
Thanks.

It's not just what you're given, it's what you do with what you've got.

Thanks Martin, how did this problem with the characters come about?
as I can't remember this being an issue at the start.

It will always have been an issue, you probably just didn't notice it (nor did I).
It's not just what you're given, it's what you do with what you've got.
