hmm apparently this book is doing the rounds at least amidst some folks who i know.. talking about happenings in somewhere called ffald y brenin now a chiristian retreat somewhere in Wales... i got curious and had a quick look at the website... and since the book had made some impression i had to have a look at what at least one person had to say about it....   at present not sure what i think.. i very much like the profound Holy Spirit Encounter stuff...   and all for exploration in prayer... and anything that enhances one's experience of GOD...

has anyone read the book? has anyone been there? what do folks think?

i got the book pushed into my hand and so have read it pretty much by now...  i like it for the account of someone who hears from GOD allbeit at times eventually... i particularly like that the writer was as it were 'struck off' reasons unexplained  from doing the formal route of being a proper church person as in being propelled into the lofty heights of the ivory towers... but GOD had a better plan! (as always)  i like a lot of the theology i LOVE the let GOD get on with it! GOD does it better than us hampering and foibling on with our underdeclared obstacles!  some signs and wonders ... the celtic stuff is interesting - i guess like places like Iona .. am a little puzzled by that bit... hey it's a refreshing read on the whole
