ecu, I had heard - from one source - that he was Christian, but had also heard from another source that this was untrue.  Not sure that I was particularly bothered whether he was or not, though if he was it is good to know that there are Christians who are willing to put themselves out in the firing line in this way.

i'm just reporting what was said on the bbc...  for all the mention i have ever heard of Brian Haw it was the first time that a christian faith had ever come to my consciousness....   i have absolutley no doubt that on tickbox values we all fail on eachothers assessments... so if any of us (or for that matter anyone we know or can think of who self identifies as christian ) were in charge of the keys of Heaven then the intake numbers would be quite small ....  thankfully Jesus is in control!

for me it's nice to know that there are some christians out there who take courses of action that others envy... and that people take their faith out there ...that  Jesus cares

GOD BLESS!

Peace and Love,

Interesting the source that said he was a Christian was something like Steve Chalke's Oasis/Faithworks group, IIRC, whilst the other was a non-religious group.
