hmm not a personal fan of the art and entertainment of hypnotism at the best of times.... was a little intrigued by this story... seems that ... tjhe people hypnotised chose to remain asleep while the hypnotist was out?

GOD BLESS!

I went to a professional theraputic hypnotist once, it was an interesting experience. At no time did I feel out of control, but it did the business for me for a while.

Also been to see a professional hypnotist - again I was 'in control' of myself. It is just like being in a very relaxed state before falling asleep (though you don't normally actually go to sleep), allowing your mind to drift etc - there is nothing to fear. For me it is similar to guided meditation.

Has the England football team been hypnotised?
They are playing like a team in a zombie like state of mind at the moment.

Peace and Love,

I was having a past life regression - and to be honest, I was not entirely sure if I had 'gone under' or not. I felt quite relaxed but in control. The person doing the hypnosis seemed quite certain that I had been under hypnosis but then again she would say that - or I would have wanted my money back  )):

What surprised me was that I expected it to be more of a visual thing - to actually have felt that my mind had been transported to a past life, and to be able to describe things in detail - like I was actually 'there'. I could not do this. I was hoping to retrieve info so I could perhaps go and do further research - but this did not happen for me.

My hubby was also regressed. He came out with some info on a person he was meant to 'be' but when we checked on it later - the dates were all wrong, so he believes he made it all up and he hadn't been 'put under' either.

The place where the hypnosis was being done wasn't exactly ideal though - in a building shared with other businesses -  lots of noise  - people on phones etc, causing distractions . It would have been better in some place quiet.

After mine & hubby's experience it is difficult to imagine anyone being so 'out of it' that they do stupid stuff in the name of entertainment.

Many years ago we came across a hypnotist who claimed he could do past life regressions, which we believe to be a load of baloney. Anyway my husband decided to allow the chap loose on him. He was invited to our home and they went into the lounge. My daughters and I had our ears pressed against the door listening to the proceedings. It was hilarious, however hard he tried the bloke couldn't put my husband under! "You are feeling sleepy", "Not I am not", retorted my husband! "Yes you are", replied the hypnotist with increasing desperation. After about 20 minutes he gave it up as a bad job, but still insisted on his fee!

thanks Jan for these accounts (and floopowder too)... it seems weird that they did not find a quiet location though i guess hypnosis on stage must be quite frenetic....

did it change your lives?

GOD BLESS!

Peace and Love,

someone who had had hypnosis for a condition that actually was reported to have vanished... was telling of theri experience.. they came up with a strange detail which was about an ideal view of themselves.... which had surprised them ... i asked if that was  what they saw as an ideal view they answered no.... i pondered that it may have indeed been an ideal view of sorts of the hypnotist which is why i certainly feel some suspicion to confidence in the  authenticity of the process... without actually coming up with any alternatives for some of the described phenomena that come into the media...
