How's about this, then?

If you're off camping this summer, you might want to take one of these iconic vehicles.
Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional.

Have you visited the Garw Valley Railway yet?

camping can be fun - if the weather is good & the company - but probably not for more than a couple of days in a tent (too used to my ensuite  )): ). Now a motorhome, fully equipt with all mod cons - I could do that no probs.

But that isn't camping, Jan.  It probably doesn't even equate with glamping!!

(said in my 'campest' voice  )): ) Er Hellooooo - but that is why motorhomes are sometimes referred to as 'camper vans' - the clue is in the name  :hic: :gp:

Yes it is expensive, but you are paying for the novelty and the potential trouble-causing if you are mischievous at heart!!

Ah well - if its for the mischief making then that is OK I guess  ;)

They are quite snazzy looking tents. Personally I would rather have the real thing .... so I could sell it (they are worth quite a bit) and buy a 'proper' motorhome!

On the occasions I have to take a holiday, something I don't enjoy, I do like a reasonable hotel with all mod cons. We used to have quite a posh caravan, but even that was too basic for me.

If I was going to slum it, I'd buy a proper RV, not a naff motor home!!  0o| )):

Wish I could afford to buy either
