No Jan, you're right. I've often thought it unfair that women have the accepted choice in skirts/trousers where men (other than kilts) don't!
Same (but different!) argument used to happen every summer in our office when women could wear light tops in the warm weather but guys still had to have a collar and tie - and sometimes the jacket too!

But it's society that would need to change....and at the moment, that boy would (wrongly - but nevertheless) take a tanking around here....that's why I wonder that it's all "oh we support him" in front of the cameras - what happened when the cameras went away?

But still no comparison between a skirt and a kilt!!  w: ;)

or then there is that thing that men can take their shirts off and stroll around **** in Summer (apart from when on Spanish public transport apparently) and what would happen if women were to walk around **** (apart from being on hols in Spain)?  I can imagine this causing absolute chaos  ;)

OTOH we do have the advantage over you that formal dress is very easy - no-one bats an eyelid if you are still wearing the same DJ this year as you did last year, and the year before! Now if one of you wears the same frock to two formal do's in succession there is a problem.. - and lord preserve us if someone else is wearing the same model!
