If Labour's proposed cuts had been put into place, what impact would they have had, I wonder?  Remembering that the level of cuts in the past year would have been much of a muchness if the figures released for Labour's plans are correct (11% as opposed to 12%), how would they split the cake?

Well, if you will insist on using a source that is intrinsically biased towards Labour (in the same way that the Daily Telegraph is biased towards the Tories), you are likely to be left on a roller coaster, ecu.  They can't be seen to diss Labour's plans, but nor can they be seen to applaud non-Labour policies however good they might be.

Not sure that there is really any newspaper left in the UK that can be regarded as independent - not even that of that name.

In view of the BBC's constantly being reviled as too left/right wing by the respective parties, I'd tend to trust it more than many - but would still recommend the BBC World output if you can get hold of it, rather than the domestic stuff which is so often too UK-centric.

more stories....  hey the folks with learning disabilities are hardly gonna notice are they ...

and mmmm was intrigued with these two


building sector declines by 19% which doesn't sound good..


meanwhile the housing sector ....   fewer folks getting mortgages housing stock for renting oversubscribed so well you can imagaine oh and

the pols are back even with the recession
