A holiday lying by the pool for a week/fortnight and doing nothing else but sunbathe has never appealled. I don't mind doing that for a WEE bit of the time but then I get bored and need to go and do something or see something of where I am. I've never understood the "we didn't need to leave the apartment complex because everything was there" type of holiday. What's the point of going abroad and not seeing something of the country you're in....but each to their own!!
Right with you there! - Mind you I love a long swim in the sea as well - and by long I mean a mile or so, which, since I don't do crawl, takes a bit of time!
