Both, if that's possible.  It's good to see that some folk are willing to stand, but then the other half of my brain simply tells me that we will get yet another hopeless case, either as nominee or President.  Currently, my disaffection with American politics is probably at its lowest: had hoped that Obama's election would lift that feeling, but he seems as hopeless as the last half dozen have been
