Saw/heard this news too.  Was amused, though, that the media kept referring to him as the last remaining soldier from the 1st WW, when he was a sailor in both 1st and 2nd!!

But that's the intelligent media for you! Exactly the same as when they currently talk about all the "troops" out in Iraq/Afghanistan....when "troops" only means Army! Air Force personnel are as ignored as Navy personnel!
And don't get me started on the  media talking about "our boys"!!!!  w:
