In light of the various cases that we have seen in the news over the past 5 years or so, where some have argued that Christians have been discriminated against, this Press Association report makes interesting reading.

Folks' thoughts?

yes it will be interesting to see where lines get drawn...

wearing of crucifixes is one thing.... come to think of it though...  i do like to see the occasional crucifix it has to be said ... but surely the 'aura' of Christ should suffice?  i mean sometimes the wearers of crucifixes can let the side down!....   but then some where it as a fashion icon.. and others as a superstitious artefact... and some reflect something of a symbol of something to do with belief and a way of life that builds its own controversy... but like i say i do like to see a crucifix and i am trying not to give the wearers the spanish inquisition... so is discrimination about Faith or is it about wearers of certain symbols and decorations... there is a difference isn't there?

but i think that the other two cases the relationship guidance counsellor and the civil ceremonial job ... could well have wider issues in theri own right

GOD BLESS!

Peace and Love,
