Fairies caught on camera?

see if this link works

http://www.morpethherald.co.uk/lifestyle/how_s_this_for_a_fairy_story_1_3438917

Could be lense flare, or could be a real fairy caught on camera. Good for tourism anyway  ;)

(ps - I believe in fairies regardless  :) )

It doesn't look like anything much and is most likely to be a lense flare.

I have picked up much more realistic stuff on my camera when our home was allegedly 'haunted'!

The blue arc in the image is common in camera lens flare and again further out in the photo it is also visible but lighter.

I've known a few fairies. and all fans of Southampton FC. /.\

I am sure one could fake images, I would have no idea how to, and no reason to do so.

Some would RM - for publicity, attention or just purely because they are bored and see it as some form of entertainment - seeing those who readily believe 'anything' going daft over the images etc.

In this digital world, its easy enough to clone or copy elements into images on a computer these days (we do it when its necessary - in group shots for example). That doesn't mean that an image showing what appears to be a ghost/spirit/fairy is necessarily a fake. Electrical/electronic equipment can be very sensitive to certain 'vibrations' especially in the right conditions..

edit You stated previously that you took some photos of your barn in your field and a really spooky image of a grotesque face appeared on a photograph. You say that if you had seen it in reality, understandably you 'would have been a few miles down the road'.

I have some photographs with what appears to be 'orbs' showing on them (the first manifestation of a spirit or dust specs caught in the light). We have film footage of 'orbs' too - their movement doesn't suggest they are dust specs.

With the plethora of editing software nowadays, from Paint to Photoshop to ..., this is increasingly easy.  One doesn't even have to resort to the simplistic approach that resulted in the Cottingly Fairies

I agree Andy. My photos were taken with a pre-digital camera.

Yeah it can and does happen - when there is a strong light source (eg the sun) opposite the camera. Just for comparison here is one that we took, to compare with the one near the tree.

* well I tried to attach the pics but without success so ..
