Church commissioners & annual bonuses
« on: April 17, 2011, 07:46:29 »
They have said that they will insist on annual bonuses not exceeding 4 times annual salary for their investment portfolio.
Is this the right cut-off level and will their stand make any difference anyway?

thought the cofe was in a general financial crisis no wonder though if they sell off theri assets they will be on the munny at least short term wise

GOD BLESS!

Andrew, do you have a link that we could read so as to get the context of your question?
Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional.

Have you visited the Garw Valley Railway yet?

Andy, it was a report on the today program (or possibly the World at One) on radio 4.

The Church commissioners are (in this context) the people who look after the invested money of the Church of England Eli.
Ecu - I am not quite sure what you are getting at. They are obliged to make the best return they can but are also required to make their investments ethical. It is a question of where the ethical line is drawn...
