Having met George Thomas when he was Speaker of the Commons, I found this article in today's Western mail interesting, though not particularly new of detail.

There is no link Andy?

When my youngest daughter was four she just loved to listen to George Thomas shouting 'Order Order' when we were listening to 'Yesterday in Parliament' on Radio 4. She learned to write well before she started school, and I suggested she wrote him a letter. This she did and had a lovely handwritten reply from him. :)
