Digital TV Retune
« on: June 21, 2011, 23:53:54 »
HIya
This may be a really daft question, but the second part of the retuning process for our TV region is tomorrow - but what happens if you're not at home to do the retune on that specific day? Does it matter? Can you do it the next day?

Any knowledge on this would be appreciated!

Hi Eli
not 100% sure of my facts
but in my experience when digital tv came to Wales I could retune at any time by pressing the buttons for SEARCH (for STATIONS) on the remote which will then come up with a list of instructions on my digital tv screen and there will be a search of available stations.

That can be done any time and repeatedly over time.

That's brilliant JJ, thanks a lot for that!! I was hoping that that would be the case, but wasn't sure - and there's so much publicity about THE dates that I just wasn't sure!!

Cheers!!  )):

Yes - it is just the same as tuning the TV in for the first time or when you move to a different region - or retuning the presets on a car radio when the battery has been disconnected for a while.
