But I still don't get how Brent can authorise a Paddy's Day march (not even their own patron saint!!) and can refuse to authorise a Good Friday march!...On the pavement??? How to they reconcile THAT with good ol' H&S??
Eli, Brent includes Kilburn, which has a high Irish population.

Ok - but we have Celtic FC down the road - and also have a MASSIVE Irish contingent in the west of Scotland - but we don't have a Paddy's Day March....we have tons of Irish pubs who do their thing but it's hardly Fifth Ave!! (as an aside - would LOVE to be in NYC for Paddy's Day!!!)  but Brent taking in Kilburn doesn't account for them refusing to have a Good Friday March, unless they're WAITING to be challenged on the decision?? GCC certainly would be...!!  And still doesn't account for the Brain of Britain who said the pavement was a good alternative....!!
