i don't know what the fuss is about....

confining the walk to the pavements means less policing .... so it costs less to the taxpayer ...  surely the benefits to society as a whole...  while we are waiting for evidence of Jesus's arrival for real...

Not true, ecu.  We always walk on the road, and there are often no police anyway.  We rarely have more than 2 or 3 police for a 3-400 strong procession.

who is this year significantly  less than enthusiastic towards local efforts of christians to do passion events locally but hey!
