Eli, as Andrew pointed out, he (and I, for that matter) has not heard of any other LA that has made this decision. At the same time, you have to remember that, when I was training to be a teacher in the 70s, Brent was always known as the 'loony' authority. Not sure if they were the first to suggest doing away with competitive sports days and similar events within the context of the curriculum, but I believe that they were the first to introduce the policy - despite most Labour MPs telling them that it was bad idea!!
