I stayed at home to raise our kids as I wasn't career minded and was happy for my husband to be the bread winner. However I think women should always have the choice in this matter. It is no bad thing that men are expected to do their bit nowadays where raising the kids is concerned. Both my father and husband thought nappy changing was women's work. I don't think my father ever did get down to the business end of a baby! My husband changed five nappies, each time it was a total disaster and I ended up having to wash ALL the baby's clothes!
