Isn't this just a back to basics revisited, where the sign on the front of the shop says Perfect Goods, yet within all is corruption.
Which sign on which shop-front, Boudi? Are you talking about the sign on the 'I know what Christians think' shop, run by the notorious 'Red Top' Brothers, and others who like to make out that all Christians are perfect, so that there is an ever more spectacular fall when something goes wrong, or the sign on the shopfront of believers that reads " 'Herein are those who know they need a doctor' - Luke 5: 31-2"
When people talk about Christian Values, what do we mean, and in what respect do they differ from Muslim Values, Hindu Values or Buddhist Values?
I think the Nazareth Manifesto (Luke 4) sums up what Christian Values encompass. Whilst, on the surface they are similar to other faiths' values, the essential difference is whether or not they are being practised to ensure salvation or as a response to an offer of salvation. One is selfish, the other more altruistic.
