I miss The Bill too Eli. Would much rather watch that than the big brother x facto(ry) stuff  . Shame they axed it.
Law & Order (UK), Silk, Silent Witness, Waking the dead ... etc etc
Also enjoyed watching Sherlock (fairly recent crime drama series on BBC1. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson's adventures in 21st Century London)
