Bless you Andy!...  i can see how the hype of his hyperventilated campaign seemed to bring an illusion of hope for change in real terms we had that in 1997.... and here again in 2010 young untried men with smart speeches ...  unfortunately there is a gap that rhetoric cannot bridge the gap of transcending experience ie the view that experience does not matter it is like comparing Todd Bentley with Smith Wigglesworth....   that said i guess we all feel that experience is what got us into the mess we are in in the first place so they aren't going to sort it...

i have only vaguely been following the american saga .... the media worthiness of the bratpack t-party reminds me a little of hitler's rise to power if that is not too extreme a comparison... they saythat about 70% of americans don't support their tax reductions for the rich policies in principle pound for pound so they are not exactly representing the electorate ... but hey what's new....  and such extreme right wing republican agenda has not been seen since the 1920s in America ... theeri vociferousness and brinkmanship shown in recent weeks emulated in part along democratic lines illustrates the problems inherent in a system that elects representatives based on their ability to fool most of the people at least some of the time.... and the bipartisan nature of politics that we have here....

from afar ... and cos it is real life it does look rather comicbook colourful... the reality is that .... oh dear the reality is... we are living in worrying times and if one is able to sit back a little then we are also living in an era where the 'old guard' is increasingly being rejected .... look at the european leaders beyond brit/US for example...  and who on earth would we trust in the 'i don't know' era... but the media friendly person? who gets all the air time? how can we spot a genuine salvator?

GOD BLESS!

Peace and Love.
