it's weird timing ... though folks say he was loojking poorly in recent times.... wonder how this affects the investigations.. i hope they investigate his death thoroughly and don't just rely on hearsay
He was, according to police, known to have alcohol- and drug-related health problems; and I would suspect that the issue has gone so far as to make his allegations (shown to be right already) not a make or break element of any case.  That said, any unexplained death has to be examined carefully.

Re: yesterday's appearance by the 2 Murdochs.  Whoever 'gave' RM the shaving cream pie has probably helped their cause, rather than hindered it - I wonder if he was a NI/NC employee instructed to do this in order to encourage sympathy for RM  )):

Can Murdoch's claim that he had no knowledge of the matter really be believed in view of the fact that a major court case took place back in the mid-noughties, which he must have at least have been briefed on by those responsible for News International?
