Ecu, how can you describe NI as foreign?
And of course we should care.....! I do NOT agree with Orange Walks, although I've often had that opinion questioned as I'm, technically, Protestant - although would never describe myself as such). We've  just had our main "Walk" through Glasgow this past Saturday...thankfully there was very little trouble, but there's always the
risk!!!!! I'd ban ALL marches (Orange AND Hibs!) both sides are as bad as each other and yes the UVF seem to be responsible for the trouble as reported here, but there's provocation on both sides. NEITHER side is
innocent!

hey thanks for your perspective EliB!.... marching of a religious nature i suspect is more endemic and part of the culture in NI...  and i was a bit surprised when i visited NI to see some very orderly marching boys brigade or something ......   it is though more prevalent in some areas than others.... like outside of a easter walk of witness....   me i would love to see as an act of service to the community voluntary disbandment of the practise along with some heart felt rhetoric of a feast of cooperation and communication and communion with brothers across the divide...

NI a forrun country ? ... it's far away and across the pond.... there is no way that such troubles in a principal innglish city like london would get away with such little discussion and media response... that's what i mean... frankly syria ni its all soo far away

GOD BLESS!
